  1. Actually love Smokey Coke, but Im not using extremes. Big Peat for me does the job.

  2. Yes, he is a dick. Yet, you married an @$$h0|e, and the only reason Octomore and Coke is vaguely allowed is For Science!!!

    1. My sentiments exactly… she knew what she was getting into!

  3. Ive always said beam products do better in coke old timers used to drop peanuts in there cokes …. now id like to see a soda challenge sprite dr pepper/root beer coke and ale8 1

  4. There is something about the charcoal flavor in the Jack that just marries with Coke just better than most things. At least that’s what it seems to me. Great episode! That had to hurt just a little to drop the octomore into a red solo cup with coke and ice,l lol.

  5. Great stuff. Man I thought a Smokey coke would’ve been up there 🙁. Love the video guys cheers

  6. whiskey first and keep in fridge or freezer then cola and i keep it cold also

  7. Well it’s official she’s crazy. bourbon is great with coke wild Turkey and jack Daniels are the best with coke

  8. The more I watch this girl/young lady (ie Sam), its quite refreshing. She reminds me of many girls back in the Midwest, before I moved out here to the Pacific Northwest. Ha, she would cause these PNW women & men to have panic attacks with her not give a sh!ts attitude. Love it! Another great video Bobby & Sam!

BTW: Im SHOCKED the bourbon traditionalist arent killing you for mixing Wellers. Again, quite refreshing to watch You-Tubers like this. Not gonna lie, Ive tried coke with: Weller 12, Wellers Old Antique, Elijah Craig, Eagle Rare, Bernheim, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Larceny, Ezra, Elmer T Lee, & Monkey Shoulder amongst others. I effin HATE Scotch! Monkey Shoulder was terrible IMO mixed with coke, in addition to drinking neat.

Now Rum……………….All Rum tste good with coke. USE MEXICAN COKE when mixing with anything.

    1. Haha thanks! Honestly we are just out here having fun. Its a nice bonus for us that anybody watches our videos. Cheers!

  9. If you want to experiment… go for gin & coke. Makes it really aromatic 🙂 ps. Use cheap gin :))

  10. Id look at something with strong cherry or vanilla flavors. Buffalo Trace, Henry McKenna 10, EH Taylor, or Elijah Craig

    1. Yeah i think the major flavors like that do tend to show through

  11. only way i can drink jack is in coke. blade and bow, jim bean, evan williams, old grandad are all my go to for coke mixes

  12. Actually an Ardbeg 10 and real Coke. 2oz Ardbeg, 6oz come makes a really nice drink

  13. Thanks for choosing Coke. HATE when restaurants or bars have Pepsi. This was super interesting for me. I like whiskey and Coke, but I drink it neat and use Coke for my wife. Our go to Coke mixers are Heaven Hill white label, Beam white label and occasionally Rebel Yell. Haven’t gone high proof and wouldn’t waste a store pick Weller on it. Haha!

    1. Hah yeah we wanted to try things that people wouldn’t normally try. But we were surprised how much of a difference the whiskey actually played into the flavor

  14. before Bobby pulled out the Octomore…I thought for sure he was going to bring out the Mellow yellow…LMAO..

    1. Robert Predl you are probably right, unfortunately I am a type 1 diabetic so I have to use the sugar free stuff since my pancreas no longer works 😫 -Sam

  15. When mixing with Peated Scotch (or other smokey things really) I go for Dr Pepper instead of Coke. Cuts the sweetness nicely and mixes better with the flavours, imo…

  16. It was an embarrassingly short time ago that I learned Jacks last name was not and Coke

    1. @I Whiskey She Wines bookers then octomore man I laughed , I paused the video to comment because I figured pappy was next.

  17. Octomore and Bookers in coke. Heresy! You should have used measuring devices because, science! Back when I used to drink mixed with coke, Jim Beam and Ancient Age were my cheap go-tos.

    1. Yeah. We were doing this with a very tongue in cheek mentality

  18. Most people mix coke with old crow, old grand dad Jim beam white, something solidly in the budget range. Bobby and sam Owa 107, bookers and octomore. Because you know Science

  19. Omg good save Bobby on the Weller Antique 107, this was a good head to head for whisk(e)y mixed with Coke but I agree nothing beats regular Coke compared to calorie saving sodas. Cheers Bobby and Sam!

    1. I didn’t mind pouring a little of it in with coke but I would have been heartbroken if I didn’t catch the bottle

  20. I cannot agree with Sam anyless in this review. Whiskey and coke never was my thing either. It ruins the whiskey flavors

  21. what is the highest % a bourbon can be legally? or better yet, whats the highest % you know of on the market today?

    1. It cannot go into the barrel higher than 125 proof, and you dont always see the alcohol go up as it ages. Mid to upper 130s is as high as it will ever go.

    2. The highest I have is william heavenhill at around 135 proof but there are some things out there that get over 140 proof

  22. While I am a cocktail guy, $80 bourbon in coke, not sure about that. Still great video.

    1. @I Whiskey She Wines I do remember once in college drinking Passport scotch and coke. (gross) My friend Tim thought it was so cool that we were drinking scotch!

  23. I am not an advocate for Fireball, but Coke mixed with it might be ok. There’s an old fashioned Soda Fountain in Columbus, Indiana that makes Cinnamon Cokes and they are delicious. The cinnamon really compliments the cola flavors.

  24. In my opinion you have to use full red label original coke…not diet coke, not coke zero, not coke life…real coke…Plus I think the ratios have to be correct. 2 oz of bourbon to 10 oz of Coke..I personally dont like using expensive bourbon in my mixes..Evan Williams Bottled in Bond or Wild Turkey 101 work well for me..

    1. @I Whiskey She Wines – understand completely. Coke Zero is a good replacement….my jam lately is Bourbon and Ginger Beer..with a lime wedge…and perhaps mint…I tend to favor Bulleit which seems to work well..

    2. I agree there’s no replacement for real coke. We went with zero sugar because Sam is diabetic. I wouldn’t normally put expensive bourbon with coke either, we just wanted to try something new in the video
