I’m not sure if I will stay on keto long term as I’m still experimenting but I think I’m going to remain grain free. Keto is a gut healing diet by nature similar to the GAPS diet since right now I pretty much eat meat, vegetables and lots of healthy fats. Many say that “leaky gut” is the root of autoimmune diseases and many times wheat and other gluten containing grains are the cause. Some also say lectins found in some plant foods are also implicated. Kris Kresser is a good resource to learn about this. I also recommend listening to Dr William Davis (Wheat Belly author). He talks about people healing from all kinds of diseases by giving up grains. I started keto and intermittent fasting because of all the science backed benefits but especially to help improve my memory and overall brain function. I’m still adapting to keto so I haven’t noticed a huge difference there yet but hopefully in time as fasting and keto promote neurogenesis……🤓👍

  6. I am just fed up of psoriasis i am going to start this diet and see how does it works for me

    1. Ill send you a sulfa medication name that will make it fall off your body. I need to get to my doctors office first and get the name. I thought I was suffering from a sulfa reaction when it started. I went to the ER thinking I had Steve Johnson Syndrome. It cleared up for over a month after only 2 days of use. My plan is to micro dose the drug. I dont remember the exact name but it was a bactrim generic.

    2. add one glass of kefir milk daily in your diet and psoriasis will rapidly start vanishing if you wanna see quick results drink 4 cups of kefir first day on third day you will be surprised

    3. as of now i am not fasting but eating good balanced diet but as ramadan is approaching i will fast for the whole month but will stick to the same diet as what i am doing now

    4. hello here is a small list of things i am doing

      No to this stuff
      Sweets,Sugar, Pulses, avoid carbs as much as possible very low to zero carb, No artificial colours, No refined oils, No milk based tea or coffee (only black tea or coffee can be taken) no sugar free tabs, no fibrous vegetables like sweet potato, potato, beetroots,banana(No to fruits with high amount of sugars and carbs) to reduce consumption of milk and curds to minimum, no frozen food.

      Yes to this things:
      Cheese, Butter, Olive oil, coconut oil, sea salt,
      min of 1 max of 6 eggs whole every day,
      chicken Mutton Beef, Fish to be taken as per your diet routine can me marinated in less spices and can be cooked only with the above mentioned oils
      good fats 50-100 gms per day
      Salads, lemon min of 3 per day
      nuts – almonds, walnuts, pistacho, sunflower seeds, flax seeds
      Mutton bone soup cooked for long
      Green Tea
      minimum of 3 litre water with max 5
      avacado

      plan ur meal for every day do a meal prep and keep it so that you can save time i usually do a meal prep for a week deep freeze it.
      try not to take carbs and sugars
      exercise 45 mins per day

  9. You might want to consider staying away from stevia. It may not have calories or carbs but it can still cause an insulin response by your pancreas.
